Wesley Lodge Demolition

It is time to say farewell to the old lodge.

After several months of negotiations, we have finally reached an acceptable settlement with the insurance company. Unfortunately, until this settlement was reached, we were unable to demolish the lodge - hence the reason for the delay and what appeared to most of you that nothing was happening.

As many of you may be aware, we have already relocated much of the equipment that was saved, much of the kitchen equipment had been moved to Epworth, stoves, freezers, counter tops, etc, along with much of the furniture from the west wing. We are also hoping to save some of the stones from the Fireplace Room, to be used somewhere in the new structure, so there will definitely be something of the old lodge to remind us.
