After serving Aldersgate faithfully since 1971 the swimming pool at Dietz was finally filled in this past spring. The pool which has been out of commision since 1996 due to general decay provided a place to cool off for thousands of people over its lifetime.
After the pool was closed, our summer campers would continue to swim over at the Swartswood State park until the new Forsman Pool Complex was built over on the main camp in 2004.
The Dietz Memorial Center continues to be a place of ministry, providing a launching base for most of our watercraft programs over the summer, along with our soccer field and softball field used throughout the year by the local Stillwater Township Little League.
